DSP-232+ Upgrade
 Adds all features of the new DSP-232+ to the original DSP-232!

With the this upgrade, the DSP-232 will operate Sound Card modes (such as PSK-31, MT-63 and SSTV), RTTY, AMTOR, Pactor I,
CW, 1200 bps packet and 9600 bps packet with the mailbox feature for the appropriate modes and  the size of the DSP-232 mailbox
 will increase from 18 Kbytes to 242 Kbytes.

New Data and DSP Firmware upgrade features include:

• Pactor
• Full MailDrop facility for Packet, Pactor, and AMTOR
• MARS, Marine & Euro DSP modems

New hardware upgrade features include:

• Sound Card Interface with transformer isolation
• CW keying jack +/-
• 242K Mailbox
• Increased receive sensitivity

Sound Card Interface features include:

• SC ON /SC OFF command to switch in and out of the sound card mode. 
• When in the sound card mode, the LED character display says 'SC". 
• No relays - electronic switching. 
• The receive audio goes to the sound card output at all times so you can use a spectrum display on the computer.
• The DSP-232 transmit audio can be either selected or mixed with the sound card xmit audio for PC ALE override. Jumper selectable. 
• Trimpots for sound card audio input and output level adjustment 
• New DSP modem 1600/1400 Hz for MARS and marine channelized Pactor operation.
• Uses standard 3.5 mm to 3.5 mm stereo cables (included) to the PC sound card.
• Extra parallel jack for PC speaker.  
• New housing top with sound card interface jacks

The DSP-232+ upgrade kit contains:

1. Data EPROM firmware upgrade to add Pactor mode as well as enabling the Mailbox feature for AMTOR, Pactor and Packet.
2. DSP EPROM firmware upgrade to add 1600/1400 FSK modem for MARS/Marine Pactor compatibility.
3. Gain resistor value change to increase receive signal sensitivity. (soldering required for this resistor change.)
4. Combination plug-in module for Sound Card Interface and CW keying output.
5. Two 128kx8 SRAM chips for mailbox size increase to 242kB.
6. Two 3.5 mm to 3.5 mm stereo cables to connect to the PC sound card.
7.  New black housing top with labels and jacks for Sound Card Interface and CW keying output.
