We recommend you read this page before ordering your PK-232/PSK upgrade kit but it's not necessary to determine which kit to order.
There are three variations of the PK-232/MBX/DSP main circuit board. Each variation requires different connections for PSK upgrade kit. The 3 photos below show the differences among the variations of the PK-232.
Note: All PK-232/PSK Card Interface Kits are compatible with
DSP and MBX kits. They are not compatible with any other modification that uses the PK-232 external modem jack or internal headers JP4, JP5, and JP6.
One 9-pin header for JP4, JP5, and JP6.
Latest version of PK-232 - includes all Timewave PK-232/DSP versions and last AEA PK-232MBX version with red, yellow and green LEDs on front panel. Some AEA PK-232MBX with with all red LEDs on front panel may use this board. Remove the housing top to visually compare your board to this picture. Order PSK upgrade kit part number A.06219.
